Welcome to the website of ‘Ponsonby Dentist’ where you will find further information about us and our treatment options. We perform all aspects of general dentistry including; Tooth Whitening, Cosmetic Dentistry, White Fillings, Porcelain Crowns, Gold Crowns, Tooth Extractions, Emergency Appointments for Broken Teeth or Tooth Ache, Oral Surgery, Implants, Replacement of Missing Teeth, Wisdom Tooth removal, Composite Veneers and Root Canal treatment.
Our lead dentist Dr Tony Dey is an Otago Graduate and a Ponsonby local. Since graduating in 2001 he has built a broad base of experience. He has a very caring nature and together with the team, creates a relaxed atmosphere.
Tony started his career working in the very busy Oral Surgery Unit at Waikato Hospital. He maintains his surgical skills today working for Mobile Surgical Services in their mobile operating theater. Tony returned to The University of Otago School of Dentistry in 2004, as a Professional Practice Fellow, where he taught in the Paediatric, Oral Surgery and General Practice Departments. He is now excited to bring these skills to his local community of Ponsonby.
